December 2nd, audiences were treated to the Premiere of “Mountain At My Feet" by the Vintage Youth Ensemble, Dance Theatre of Ireland’s Seniors Dance Performance Ensemble.  The new work combines dance, music and spoken word to reflect their collective wisdom, humour and experience of Living and the inspirational people and moments which sustain and fuel their lives. 

Vintage Youth members were also joined by members of Dublin Youth Dance Company to present "Stand in that River".

VINTAGE YOUTH Ensemble is Dance Theatre of Ireland’s Senior performance group, a diverse cast  of older adults who came together as an outgrowth of DTI’s WELL-DANCE for Seniors modern Dance & Health programme. Their desire to delve more deeply into the art of dance and performance led to the group’s formation.

Since 2015 they have created and performed many original dance performances in Theatres and for public Events and Festivals under the direction of the DTI Artistic Directors, Loretta Yurick and Robert Connor. Photos by Ewa Figaszewska
